Experience Glasnevin, Ireland's National Cemetary is one of Ireland's largest visited cemetery. Over 1.5 million people are buried on the grounds of the cemetery. The cemetery is opened 7 days a week offering guided tours and a museum experience that will educate you beyond words. The guided tours are provided by tour guides whom make the trip interesting and enjoyable for all ages. Not only is visiting Glasnevin Cemetery a history lesson but it can also be a history and heritage tour in which you can find out more of your family history using the sources located in the museum.

Distance from West County Hotel
Glasnevin Cemetery is situated just 9km from West County Hotel or a 20 minute drive. You can take the bus 26 from outside the hotel and get off at Stop 7453. When you get off stop you will walk for approx. 5 minutes until you get to St Michan's Church, Smithfield (Stop 1616). From here you will take the bus 83 to Prospect Way, Glasnevin (Stop 200). Glasnevin Cemetary is a 5 minute walk from this stop.
