Situated within the confines of The Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo is Ireland’s most visited tourist attraction. The zoo welcomed over one million visitors last year and is one of the world’s oldest and most popular zoos. The zoo is home to all kinds of wildlife and is a fun-filled, stimulating day out for all the family. Roam the African Savanna, hang out at the Gorilla Rainforest, or visit the new Sea Lion Cove; there’s lots to do at the zoo and so many beautiful animals to see.

Distance from The West County Hotel
Dublin Zoo is situated the far end of The Phoenix Park and is roughly 7km away from the hotel, or a 11 minute drive. Take Bus 26 from outside the hotel and get off at stop 1473. Dublin Zoo is a 10-minute walk from this bus stop (through Phoenix Park).
