Local Attractions #14: Irish Folk Tours

Irish Folk Tours offer a unique story-telling experience presented in Ireland’s oldest pub, The Brazen Head. Immerse yourself into the mythical world of Celtic Ireland and learn about the history of Irish Storytelling and the importance it played in the culture of society centuries ago.

The evening takes you back in time to a fascinating and magical world in Ireland many years ago, where stories of heroes and villains are wonderfully told by the Seanchai (or storyteller). The storyteller provides the words to engross your imagination, creating your own personal experience of the story told and the evening as a whole.

Since the pandemic, the show has changed format and now labels itself as a "pre-dinner show" for you to enjoy before you head out for somewhere to eat in the many restaurants located nearby.
