Accommodation

WHAT IS THE HOTEL’S CANCELLATION POLICY?
The hotel applies a 24-hour cancellation policy on the majority of bookings. This means there is no fee or charge when you cancel your booking with a minimum 24 hours' notice to your day of arrival.

ARE THERE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE?
Yes. Some of our offers include an option to pre-pay for your booking before arrival, allowing you to receive a discount for the sacrifice of paying immediately. Should you have made your booking in this method and wish to cancel, please contact us directly on 01 626 4011 or email reception@westcountyhotel.ie. While the standard procedure is not to refund cancellations under these rate codes, given the extraordinary events we are experiencing, we may be in a position to offer some relief to these bookings.  

HOW DO I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
If you made your accommodation booking directly with the hotel (either by telephone, email or via our official website www.westcounty.ie, you can simply contact us by telephone (00353 1 626 4011) or email (reception@westcountyhotel.ie) and cancel your booking. 

If you booked your accommodation via a third-party booking website (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia etc.) you must cancel your booking through this source. In most cases with such websites, we cannot make changes to your booking and the onus is on the customer to arrange changes and/or cancellations to your booking. 

I FORGOT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING? WILL I STILL BE CHARGED?
Unfortunately, yes. Failure to cancel your booking within our cancellation policy will result in the full cost of your first night’s stay being charged. If you booking was for multiple nights, the hotel automatically cancels the remainder of your nights booked. 

Dining

WHAT IS THE HOTEL’S CANCELLATION POLICY?
We would ask for 72 hours’ notice for cancelling restaurant table bookings. In most cases, we do not charge a deposit or fee for table reservations. However, we would ask guests and customers to please give such notice above when cancelling dining reservations. Failure to do so results in food waste, short notice shift changes and high opportunity costs. 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
To cancel table reservations, simply contact us by telephone (00353 1 626 4011) or email (reception@westcountyhotel.ie) and cancel your booking. 

I PAID A DEPOSIT FOR A TABLE RESERVATION. IS THIS REFUNDABLE?
On certain dates (e.g. Mother’s Day, Communion/Confirmation dates) or for large table bookings, we apply a small deposit when taking table reservations. While the standard procedure is not to refund deposits in these cases, given the extraordinary events we are experiencing, we may be in a position to offer some relief to these bookings.
