The West County Hotel will be hosting the annual Alzheimer’s Afternoon Tea event on Tuesday 16th May 2017. Now in our third year, our Afternoon Tea will include a selection of cakes, scones, sandwiches and tea/coffee. We will also be featuring Musical Bingo throughout the afternoon, and there will be a number of spot prizes up for grabs also.
The Afternoon Tea event will run from 3.00pm – 7.00pm and all are welcome. All proceeds and donations on the day will go directly towards Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
Alzheimer’s Tea Day is the largest annual fundraising campaign in The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s (ASI) calendar. Since 1994, the annual event has raised over €7.5m nationally and these funds have been used to support the 55,000 people across Ireland living with Dementia. All across Ireland, organisations, clubs and homes have been hosting tea parties for this great cause.
Working all over Ireland, the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland is a non-profit organisation catering to local communities to provide specific dementia and Alzheimer’s services and support. The charity also operates a National Helpline that provides information and support to anyone affected by dementia.
